FAQs

How can I buy a teddy bear?

Our teddy bears aren’t quite ready to ship yet - we’re still busy making them but you can pre-order one here.

When will my teddy bear arrive?

We’ll be shipping our bears and setting them loose in October.

Where do you make the bears?

All our teddy bears are lovingly handmade in Britain. Shropshire, to be precise.

What materials do you use?

We believe a proper teddy bear lasts a lifetime, so we use some of the finest materials available. We use quality mohair for fur, soft felt for the paws and polyester for stuffing. Mohair has been used to make teddy bears for well over 100 years now. Ours is ethically sourced from South African Angora goats and woven in Germany.

How do you ‘feed a child for a whole school year’?

This is our favorite bit. Every time we sell a bear, we donate to our non-profit giving partners so that they can feed a child for a whole school year. Our main giving partner is a charity called Mary’s Meals.

They are a British charity and run school feeding programmes in some of the poorest communities in the world.

How much does delivery cost?

If you live in the UK then delivery is totally free, you lucky thing! We try to dispatch all our bears the next working day after you order. Expect them to arrive 2 - 4 working days after dispatch.

I don’t live in the UK. Do you ship internationally?

We sure do - our bears LOVE to travel. We do ask that you help them out with their air fares though.

Europe: we charge a flat shipping rate of £5.95. Your bear should arrive 3 - 5 workings days after dispatch.

Rest of the world: we charge a flat shipping rate of £9.95. Your bear should arrive 5 - 7 working days after dispatch.

As always, we try to dispatch on the next working day after you place your order. Now here’s some boring but important stuff about customs:

International orders outside of the EU can sometimes incur taxes and duties as determined by the Customs agency within the destination country. Although this doesn't always happen, payment of such taxes/ duties is the responsibility of the recipient.

Is payment secure?

Yes, it sure is. Plus we accept all the usual payment methods: PayPal, Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express.

We use secure payment gateways to handle all payments and the site has an SSL certificate.

What’s your returns policy?

We’ll be very sad for one thing - but if you and your bear truly must part ways, please send him back to us in his original, unopened packaging. We accept returns anytime within 21 days of ordering.

If you do want to return or exchange a product please send us a message here, so that we can advise you on how to do it.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange your item must be returned to us unused and unopened in the same condition that you received it. You will be responsible for the costs incurred in returning your item and all shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the item was faulty or incorrect when dispatched by us, in which case we sincerely apologise).
